Terms of Service

Last updated: July 16, 2026

1. Acceptance

By creating an account or using Care by Talia, you agree to these terms and the Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not create an account or use the service.

2. Talia iOS App

Talia is a parenting-support app with baby and parent profiles, feed/sleep/diaper and recovery tracking, journey and milestone tools, data export, and an AI chat companion. Features may depend on an active Apple in-app purchase subscription.

The app is for adult parents and caregivers. It has no public feed, user-to-user messaging, marketplace, or other user-generated-content sharing feature.

3. Educational Guidance; Not Medical Care

Talia is not a licensed healthcare provider and does not provide medical advice, diagnosis, treatment, medication instructions, or emergency care.

Material pregnancy, postpartum, feeding, sleep, developmental, and baby-care answers may use only human-approved Knowledge Book sources. When no adequate approved source is available, Talia is designed to refuse rather than guess. Tracking data and user-supplied medical notes personalize the experience but are not medical evidence.

Contact a pediatrician, midwife, doctor, or other qualified professional for health concerns and medical decisions. For a possible emergency, contact local emergency services immediately.

4. Apple Subscription

Premium app access is sold through Apple In-App Purchase using monthly or annual auto-renewing subscriptions. The app displays StoreKit product information, and Apple's purchase sheet shows the final local price, trial eligibility, billing period, renewal terms, and confirmation before purchase.

Payment is charged to the user's Apple ID. Subscriptions renew unless cancelled through Apple ID subscription settings within Apple's required timeframe. Restore Purchase is available in the app. Deleting a Talia account does not cancel an Apple subscription.

5. Accounts, Data, and Deletion

Users must provide accurate account information and protect their sign-in credentials. Users may export their app data and permanently delete their Talia account from Settings. Account deletion removes the account and associated active app records as described in the Privacy Policy.

6. Separately Offered Public-Site Services

The public Care by Talia website may separately describe in-home support and a Digital Newborn Guide. Those services have their own booking, delivery, payment, cancellation, and refund terms shown before purchase or supplied in the service agreement. They are not sold through or linked from the Talia iOS app.

7. Acceptable Use

Users must not:

  • Use the app as a substitute for professional medical or emergency care.
  • Submit content they do not have the right to process.
  • Share account credentials or attempt to access another user's data.
  • Reverse-engineer, disrupt, abuse, or exploit the service.
  • Use the service for unlawful, harmful, or fraudulent purposes.

8. Intellectual Property

Care by Talia owns the app, brand, design, and service content except for user-provided data and third-party materials. Users retain ownership of information they provide and grant the limited rights needed to operate the requested service.

9. Availability and Liability

The service is provided on an “as available” basis. We do not promise uninterrupted access or that AI output will answer every question. To the maximum extent permitted by law, Care by Talia is not responsible for decisions made in place of professional care or for losses caused by misuse of the service.

10. Changes and Contact

Material changes will be communicated through the app, website, or email where appropriate.
